1. Shark Navigator Lift-Away / Lift-Away Deluxe (NV360, NV356, NV350 Series)
• Pre-Motor Filter: Detach the dust canister by releasing the side tabs. The pre-motor filter stack is located at the base of the bin compartment.
• Post-Motor (HEPA/Exhaust) Filter: Also located beneath the bin area. Removing the dust bin reveals the post-motor filter housing at the base of the unit.
2. Shark Rotator Lift-Away Upright / Rotator Pet / DuoClean Uprights (NV501, NV502, Rotator Series)
• Pre-Motor Filter: Remove the dust cup or canister. The pre-motor filter stack is located directly under the dust-cup seat.
• Post-Motor Filter: Located at the base of the unit behind or in front of the lower grill. Once the bin is removed, lift or slide the panel to access the exhaust or HEPA filter.
3. Shark PowerDetect / Detect Lift-Away / Newer Upright Models
• Pre-Motor Filter: The dust cup detaches from the unit, revealing the foam or felt pre-motor filter directly beneath the dust-cup inlet.
• Post-Motor Filter: Located under the base or front exhaust grill. Accessible after removing the dust bin and opening the filter cover.
4. Shark Rocket Corded Stick Vacuum (HV301, HV300 Series)
• Pre-Motor Filter: Located behind the front orange filter lid. Remove the lid to access and pull out the foam and felt filters from the dust-cup assembly.
• Post-Motor Filter: Inside the main body, behind the filter lid. Remove the lid to access the pleated or HEPA filter.
5. Shark Rocket DeluxePro / Corded Stick Vacuums (HV322, HV321, HV320 Series)
• Pre-Motor Filter: Detach the dust cup from the stick body to access and remove the filters.
• Post-Motor Filter: Located behind the rear vent or back panel of the handheld unit. Open the filter cover to remove the secondary filter.
6. Shark Cordless / Ultra-Light Stick Vacuums (HV / IZ Series)
• Pre-Motor Filter: Remove the dust cup to access the foam or felt pre-motor filter beneath the dust-cup opening.
• Post-Motor Filter: Located in the rear section of the handheld motor housing. After removing the dust cup, open the filter compartment to access the exhaust filter.
7. Shark Matrix Self-Empty Robot Vacuum (RV2310AE)
• Filter: This model is bagless and self-emptying. Remove the dust bin from the robot to access the filter located inside the removable bin.
8. Shark ION Robot Vacuum R75 (RV756)
• Filter: Debris collects in an onboard removable dust bin. Pull out the dust chamber to access the internal filter compartment.
9. Shark Navigator Robot Vacuum (RV2110)
• Filter: Uses a removable dust bin. When the bin is removed for emptying, the filter area is directly accessible inside the dust compartment.
10. Shark IQ Robot Vacuum – Self-Empty Models (RV2303, RV1100 Series)
• Filter: Debris is collected in a removable onboard dust bin that empties into the base. Removing the bin exposes the internal filter.
